SPECIAL GUEST: Graeme Campbell, father of modern Australian Nationalism tells his story

Backbench Drivers Episode 11

Former WA Labor/Independent MP, father of modern Australian nationalism, founder of the now-defunct Australia First party and author of the content-dense history of Australian multicultural and immigration policy ‘Australia Betrayed’, Graeme Campbell joined Matthew and John this week to tell the story of his time in politics, as well as give his thoughts on modern immigration policy, Australia first foreign policy, the Voice to parliament, and Australian nationalist strategy in the modern day. Graeme is a living legend and this was an extremely informative episode, I very much look forward to bringing him back on many future episodes.

Please excuse the poor audio quality in some parts, this interview had to be recorded entirely over the phone and enhanced in retrospect.

Australia Month

We are approaching the conclusion of the Australia Month campaign and the most important thing you can do is sign the offical petition which has already received over 1000 signatures. Another great way to promote the campaign is to attach #AustraliaMonth to your social media posts. Already the hashtag has gone trending multiple times and received support from a wide variety of Australians, perhaps most notably One Nation Senator Malcom Roberts.

The National Observer is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.
