Australians today have the privilege of living through the collapse of an empire. 2025 marks the 76th anniversary of the 1949 founding of Robert Menzies’ Liberal Party. 2025 is also the year the Liberal Party was relegated to a parliamentary rump, incapable of winning another election. Interestingly, both events were celebrated with thunderous applause by Australian patriots.
What is most infuriating is that Peter Dutton squandered a perfect opportunity to reform Australian politics forever. As Australia’s White demographic hurtles toward minority status, it becomes increasingly difficult to elect a national leader who represents our unique interests as a people. In research conducted by The National Observer’s Flynn Holman, White Australians could shrink to a minority in our country by as early as the year 2034. Only three Federal elections stand between now and then.
Peter Dutton is not a right-winger, or at least is not one anymore. Earlier in his career, he may have protested the treatment of White South Africans, walked out of the Stolen Generations apology and brought attention to the African gangs epidemic, but that was a long, long time ago…
